Born in Boston

Polkadog began in 2002 with a one-eyed rescue dog named Pearl. Inspired by the love they had for Pearl and the belief that she deserved better, founders Rob Van Sickle and Deb Suchman set out to create something different — the best dog treats on the planet! More than 20 years later, that same spirit still guides everything we do. Polkadog remains rooted in community, craftsmanship, and the simple idea that when you’re treating family, quality matters.

What We Believe.

At Polkadog we’re all about doing things the right way. That means making our treats from scratch everyday in our Boston Fish Pier kitchen. It means using locally sourced ingredients from our network of neighborhood suppliers. It means not cutting corners and not outsourcing anything. Freshness. Quality Ingredients. Craftmanship. For more than two decades, Polkadog has stayed true to the simple belief that dogs deserve better treats. We think your dogs deserve them too.

Handmade, Hand Rolled, Hand Packed.

Step inside our office — don’t mind the fish aroma. Our humble home at Boston Fish Pier is where we handmake our treats in small batches each and every day.

Giving Back

Our community supports us, and we support them. In our hometown of Boston and beyond, we love giving back to causes that are near and dear to us.
