Collection: Best Made-in-USA Dog Treats

The best made-in-USA dog treats are the ones where "made in USA" means something specific, not a vague label. Most of ours come out of one kitchen: ours, on Boston Fish Pier — small batches, U.S.-raised and wild-caught ingredients, and a crew who knows every recipe by heart.

How we chose these

  • Made in the USA, full stop — no exceptions, no fine print
  • Most of the line is made in small batches at our own kitchen on Boston Fish Pier
  • U.S.-raised or wild-caught American proteins across the board
  • Local sourcing where it makes sense — Teddie's Peanut Butter, right down the street in Everett, MA, goes into our Wonder Nuggets

The picks

This is our online treat lineup: the From the Sea line (Cod Skins, Alaskan Cod & Salmon Chips, Haddock Skins, Salmon Skins, and more), the From the Farm line (Chicken Littles, Lucky Duck), Wonder Nuggets in five flavors, Green Monstah, Salmon Says, and Clam Chowda. Crunchy or soft, single-ingredient or a short recipe — all of it made in America.

Made-in-USA treat FAQ

What does "handmade" actually mean here?

It means small batches, made by our own crew — most of it at our kitchen on Boston Fish Pier. Our crunchy treats are slowly dehydrated rather than baked, which is why a Cod Skin snaps instead of crumbles.

Where do the ingredients come from?

U.S.-raised and, where possible, local — Teddie's Peanut Butter from down the street in Everett, MA is one example. Wild-caught fish comes from American and Alaskan waters. We name the source on the product page whenever we can.

Is anything in the Polkadog line imported?

No — everything on this list is made in the USA. (Some Market items we also carry from other brands may source or manufacture differently; this guide covers our own treats specifically.)

Our kitchen smells like fish. We're not embarrassed about it — it's proof we're actually doing the work here. You are what you treat.
